February 2010 Florida State Fair. I presented over a three day period various birds from my loft. Professional CD's about pigeons were presented on a screen in my tent.
Children were taught how to read a pigeon band and they wore them on a yarn string.
Some visitors to the area were given an National Pigeon Association Quarterly Magazine and other items.
The most comment I heard from adults was "I never knew there are so many pretty pigeons"
I am sure many pigeon ambassador's were established because of this event.
